Azaelias are my favorite... and the aroma!
Pictures tell the story. Early spring is perhaps the most beautiful time of year here on The Farm. Dogwoods are in bloom everywhere! The number of attendees for our Dance Weekend is now over 40, making this our largest Dance event so far! Add in our 20-40 Farm Dancers, and it makes for some powerful energy! Bringing in this many people means we are pretty full, but there are still accommodations available. My motto: There is always room for one more!

In other news in this issue, it is so interesting to watch No Kings rallies reach small town America. I was honored and grateful to lead singing for our small gathering in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.
Our Farm Dance circle member Elizabeth Barger has just turned 90! She is a true inspiration.

Peace and Resistance Music

A small group of us gathered on the town square of Lawrenceburg, about 15 miles down the road.
Being together in a circle made this a very bonding experience.

I led the group in singing songs of peace, resistance, freedom, and justice, from old movement songs of the civil rights era, to a melody addressing peace in the Middle East.
Praying for Peace, Shalom, Salaam is a Dance by Helga Schleeh of Montreal. She will be leading this Dance at our weekend in April!

Queen for a Day!

For as long as I have known her, Elizabeth Barger has been and is one of the most politically active people you will ever meet. She was in front of the White House when Code Pink was formed. She helped establish one of our area's first Women's Shelter. Elizabeth arrived in Tennessee with the original Caravan from California. She has been part of our Kirtan and Dance Sangha since we got started here, and we can count on her to be a part of our weekly Dance circle. A couple of hundred of her friends from all across Middle Tennessee were on hand to celebrate her 90th birthday.

A great year for the dogwoods!

A morning visitor strolls through my yard. You don't usually see possoms in the daylight.

This is our 7th dance weekend here on The Farm and our largest attendance yet! Click here to learn more.
In these challenging times, our dances are embodied prayers that polish the heart.
