Everything seems to be happening so quickly at the moment, so we are following up the previous newsletter faster than normal with the news that stock has now arrived at our office from the printers.
We spent a merry morning sorting out the shelves in our store room to make enough space, but it needed a good tidy up after the chaos of the last few years anyway, so no bad thing! Most of the books have gone straight down to our distributors' monster warehouse in Kent (which is where high street book shops order from); we keep a smaller balance here for people who are placing orders through the Easy On The Eye shop (and to send to galleries where the exhibition is being held).
Everyone who has pre-ordered will be sent their copy over the next few days. Please be patient as we do all the postage preparation in-house so it is quite labour intensive! All books are shipped in solid bespoke packaging and books are sent via Royal Mail usually 24 Hour tracked service; this means copies can be posted through letterboxes rather than having to go back to the depot if you are out and we can follow progress.
We will also keep the special Easy Shop price open for a little longer if anyone still wants to take advantage of this.
UNBOXING!
Some of you will be aware of unboxing videos on youtube and other social media. Bizarre? Well that works for us. So for a bit of fun, do film yourselves or friends opening the book and looking through it for the first time, and send us the clips. We will chose some for our Instagram feed! One of our clips of Steve's covers being shown on Have I Got News For You has already been watched over 1500 times.

OTHER NEWS
The Williamson Gallery exhibition of Steve's collection on The Wirral got off to a good start with a grand opening, several dozen of Merseyside's great and good attending (including the Lord Mayor - on the right - quite what he thought of it all we are not sure; apparently he collects old aircraft parts for a hobby!). The gallery are also stocking the book at their shop. Radio 4's Front Row were there too and are hoping to feature the project on Nov 28th's edition of the show. A local news site's write-up of the event is on our website and someone just got in touch to say the gallery is way busier than it usually is!

There are plans for Simon and Steve to give a talk about the book at the gallery in the New Year, more details anon. There is a cover feature on The Yorkshire Post Saturday Magazine planned for December 2nd and also due is another excellent five star review of the book from Shindig Magazine which hits the news stands on December 7th (Shindig Review) which concludes
"... very, very funny, this is an absolute gem." We won't argue!

JAPAN CALLING?
Our contacts in Japan have seen a proof and have been asking for the possibility of a translated edition over there which would be a first for us. It would be great to see what the Japanese market make of all this, and maybe it will inspire some collectors over there to send us possible sleeve material for future exhibitions - we know there is a lot out there, we just can't get at it!
