- One system multiple roof types:
When installing solar on different roof types, conventional solar racking require specific brackets. For example, solar mounting brackets for corrugated metal roofs have specific mounting brackets and standing seam metal roofs have specific bracket. They cannot be interchanged. Using the SolarPod Crown means the same brackets can be utilized for corrrugated metal, standing seam, metal tile, shingle, wood, TPO, etc. This versatility helps with personnel training, increases reliability and reduces inventory burden.

In high snow country like in Truckee CA where snow fall is measured in feet, we are proud to have done a SolarPod Crown installation. In Truckee, CA, the snow load requirement on sloped roof is 184 psf. Conventional hole system would have required 30 holes for this 2.9 kW system. But using SolarPod Crown the installation was done with no roof holes and in one day (a first time install crew).
