       I was recently asked what do you do when you have some downtime and the calls taper off for a couple of weeks? Besides bass fishing I use my down time to do follow up and educate note holders. Following up with note holders who have not accepted your prices yet is an ongoing initiative for all note businesses, so take the time to learn and practice following up with your note holders. Downtime is also a time when I will continue to educate myself by taking classes, going to a networking event or speaking at a local group that wants to learn about notes or the note business. Don’t forget, an educated note holder or referral source will pass along his or her knowledge to another and share your contact info as well.  Remember, Success Demands Action! Keep on marketing, it’s going to work! TWITA!

          Could you tell me more about your guidelines for purchasing business notes? I see many businesses for sale where they are offered via “by owner”. My thought was why not explain selling their note concept to them? I would appreciate it if you could help me understand.
