Oi Oi One and All and welcome to Septembers round up from Captain Oi HQ. The Captain is currently crushed under a mountain of vinyl! We have just had delivery of 18 titles from a number of record companies who have released Captain Oi related bands. Including from the UK (Step 1, Let Them Eat Vinyl), SPAIN (DAILY RECORDS, BEAT GENERATION), ITALY (RADIATION), NETHERLANDS (REBELLION RECORDS), GERMANY (RANDALE). So rather than having to import these slabs of wax, the Captain Oi faithful can now order from us directly!

Against all odds, this is a remarkable return to form in 1983by Angelic Upstartswith crystal-clear production and a brace of adroit songs, not least 'Woman In Disguise', a stinging attack on one Maggie Thatcher, and a foray into genuine electrified folk on 'Solidarity'. Elsewhere, Mensi tries his hand at poetry on a tale of unemployment entitled 'Geordies Wife', sings the praises of crime on 'The Burglar' and enlists the aid of a guest vocalist for the reggaefied title song.

Argy Bargy and Discipline recorded a split CD in 2004 called 100% THUG ROCK. RANDALE RECORDS have released the ARGY BARGY tracks as a limited edition
10" Vinyl. In addition to four new tracks at the time they also covered
Discipline’s "Hooligans Heaven”
and Agnostic Front’s "Its My Life”. Comes with a lyric insert.
THE LIKES OF US - ARGY BARGY
2008 saw Watfords finest ARGY BARGY release their 3rd full length studio
album 'THE LIKES OF US". This has now been given a vinyl release by
RANDALE RECORDS. Comes in a gatefold sleeve with full lyrics reproduced
inside. Looks and sounds amazing.

The Partisans' second album - described as 'the Professionals meet the
Clash' and originally out on the Cloak & Dagger label in 1984 -
reached #20 on the UK indie chart. On display was the more melodic side
of one of the most legendary names of the early UK punk era (The
Partisans formed in South Wales in early 1978). Influenced more by the
Clash and Stiff Little Fingers than their tour mates Blitz or Peter And
The Test Tube Babies, 'The Time Was Not Right' is a must have in any
punk rock collection!
