Rob FabrieDJ Predator

One of the hardcore scene's most dedicated veterans with a very strong drum'n bass preference.

It started in 1992, with his typical fast dark and mid-frequency swept melodies, Stephan Scheltema was one of Ruffneck records most important artists, due to classics like "mind of a lunatic", "the strongest gang" and his biggest smash under the moniker of diss reaction "jieehaaaa".

After a period of distorted hardcore silence, DJ Predator found his hardcore vibe back on masters of hardcore. Since then, he's responsible for smashes like "the switch", "demon pit", "legend" and "the experiment".

DJ Predator about RAW: - It's not only a very user friendly allround synth with some nice tricks up it's sleeve, and not only it can get mean and nasty with just a twist of a knob, but also has a lot of modulation capabilities for more complex and twisted sounds!

TommyknockerDJ Tommyknocker

Tommy remembers in this way his first contact with hardcore music "during the summer '94 I was at a private party and the atmosphere was surely not hardcore, there were fashionable people and commercial music was being spinned.

Suddenly a friend of mine put the needle on a Lenny Dee & Dj Paul's record...a shout...a guitar and a fat kick...I had never heard that sound before...since then everything started".

In '95 Tommy started spinning hardcore in his city. He was one of the first who propose that sound performing in clubs and then as resident in various Romans events.
In '98 his wish to play his tracks during his sets made Tommy buy a pc, a sampler and a synth, and he begins to work night and day...
One year later his first release "The realm" is ready.

Tommyknocker starts performing at international events "Street parade 2000 in Zurich was the first big event were I took part as a DJ: I was there close to the big names of the scene, ready to rock thousands of people but the needles were skipping all the time...I was so nervous...as supposed the needles skipped but everything went good...I will never forget it".
His next releases improved Tommy's popularity: Austria, Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, England, Holland, Slovenia, Spain, United states and Switzerland became infected by his sound and his catchy performances "When I spin I try to give the same energy that I get from this music directly to the crowd, sometimes I get involved so much during my sets that I start dancing!

Rob Fabrie

Rob Fabrie

His career started in 1990 as a member of the famous group HOLY NOISE.

In 1993 Rob met Lex van Coeverden and he was the label manager of Dance International Records. He liked Rob's new tracks and wanted to release them. Using the alias of Waxweazle as a writer and the artist name of Somebody from Rotterdam the tracks where released. Success in both Germany and Japan followed.

Waxweazle (The ID&T years)
Rob for the first time in his life was now in full control of his own music and how it was presented. The first release was Legs by DJ WAXWEAZLE and that one sold 2000 copies in one week. The record label was off to a flying start, many releases followed; some almost making it to the official charts in the Netherlands. Some of the hits from the Waxweazle era where: Legs, It's about time, Spread your wings, Pump it dj, Our Nightmare, Hardcore Power and Fixxxed.

A different approach: THE HEADBANGER
For the follow-up Headbanger record Rob went back to Rotterdam Records. First hit was The Nightmare Man. The third record was called: The Third Torture and it had the huge hit NO LAW on it. This one outsold all the other Headbanger records till that day, a true classic! The final instalment was Enter the 4th Dimension and it had the hits Headbanger's Theme (together with Holy Noise buddies Alee and Ruffian on vocals), I'm In Your Yead and The Wishmaster. The shout:  "Don't You Wanna Be A Headbanger" can still be heard today on every party and is the true Headbanger's anthem.

Currently Rob Fabrie is also known for his Mastering skills and worked on countless tracks as ghost producer.
