FRIDAY 14 OCTOBER
PLEASURE SEEKER FEAT: LOUISAHHH + MAELSTROM + MIKE TOHR + NARCO

On Friday we’re welcoming newly born concept PleasureSeeker for the first time. Co-Founder of RAAR, Louisahhh will be leading the way alongside Maelstrom,
Mike Thor from Atmosphere Records and Kontra for the support.

Raised in an atmosphere bursting with passion for music,LOUISAHHH (born Louisa Pillot) started singing and playing instruments at an early age before discovering a passion for DJing. Starting at age 17, sneaking into New York City clubs with fake IDs, LOUISAHHH (a name chosen "as a war cry or a shriek of delight") has since honed a style that is hard but deep, tough but tender.

After moving to Los Angeles in 2006, LOUISAHHH became half of house-centric production duo NYCPARTYINFO, releasing records with Throne of BloodNurvous andYoung Adults. However, it wasn't until Danny Dazerequested some that LOUISAHHH's talents as a singer and songwriter began to shine, gaining more notoriety as modern classic 'Your Everything' climbed the deep house charts.

Amidst this whirlwind of excitement, a fateful meeting of French techno wonderkind, Brodinski spiraled into a fast friendship and eventual collaboration for Brodinski's young label, Bromance Records. With 'Let The Beat Control Your Body' and 'Nobody Rules The Streets' becoming peak-time anthems, and explosive vocal collaborations in the realms of both deep house and techno, LOUISAHHH was getting ready to release her own productions into the world.

2013 brings about LOUISAHHH's first serious solo EP -'Transcend' - on Bromance records quickly following by 3 collab EPs with fellow French producer Maelstrom in 2014 and early 2015. Supported by dynamic, emotional, ferocious DJ sets rife with technical finesse, LOUISAHHH maintains that "she is thrilled to be alive", and that her music is an active expression of this. Her second solo EP - 'Shadow Work' - for Bromance came out last September. In the meantime, she launched her own imprint, RAAR, in collaboration with Maelstrom. The very first EP was released in November 2015 (with a new project led by techno legend Dave Clarke). She's now back in the studio, cooking some new tracks for her upcoming record. Keep an eye out!

SATURDAY 15 OCTOBER
MINILOGUE SEBASTIAN MULLEART & ULF ERIKSSON + BVOICE + MATTS BROUNS

On Saturday Minilogue Sebastian Mullaert and Kontra-Musik's head honcho Ulf Eriksson
supported by Bvoice from Foxx Trax, Moscow
and our very own Ampere Resident Matts Brouns.

Sebastian Mullaert is probably most famous for his recent success with his Minilogue alias, releasing the albums Blomma & Animals on Cocoon Recordings. During the last years he's been touring heavily around the globe both as live performer with Minilogue and as a DJ under his own name. He has also been producing music under the name
IMPS, Son Kite, Ooze & more.

As a DJ Sebastian is working all over the place mixing everything from dub, jazz and beats thru ambient and electronica up to techno and house in various forms. The musical direction of his sets depends on place and time, night time at the club, daytime at a mountain festival or at an art exhibition sounds dramatically different. The red line through Sebastian's dj set is the aim of storytelling and building, this is also why his set is rarely shorter than 4 hours and most often much longer ... His favorite set starts when the club or party open, building the music from nothing up to the sweaty smoky time of the night.

The Dance is the result of a long lasting musical love affair between Kontra-Musik's Ulf Eriksson and Sebastian Mullaert (aka Minilogue). As most love affairs, it started off as an exciting experiment: Ulf would play records and Sebastian would bring out his music gear and play a live set. The sort of backhanded and obstinate Kontra-Musik attitude would mix with the hypnotic, steady building sound that Sebastian is famous for. It was obvious from the start that the whole was greater than the sum of its parts, but as Ulf and Sebastian started touring with this live concept, something happened: Sebastian's sound got more rough around the edges while Ulf's DJ style became more focused and transfixing. In short, they where triggering each other as their sounds started to integrate. After one especially fine night at Trouw, Amsterdam, Ulf and Sebastian decided it was time to conceive The Dance. Once the decision was taken, everything else came naturally. The Dance was to be recorded live, in one take, at Kontra-Musik's home field Inkonst, Malmo, in front of an audience consisting of specially invited friends of Ulf, Sebastian and Kontra-Musik. Again, the whole turned out to be greater than the sum of it's parts. Far from being just "a gig", it was a truly intimate experience for everyone involved. The line between the producer and the consumer was not only obscured but rendered obsolete: the only thing that mattered was being present; being a part of the collective act of creation, giving birth to The Dance. This album is not only a fond memory of that sacral night but a celebration of dance itself: that ancient ritual that lets one express oneself and forget oneself at the same time. This dualistic element of The Dance has brought people together for thousands of years. This is our contribution....
