FIT FOR THE FUTURE

Extraordinary Council Meeting and Other Updates

Dear Community Member

On Monday night Pittwater Council will make one of the most important decisions of its life. Council has already decided to oppose the merger of the three Northern Beaches Councils into one single Super Council and on Monday night it will meet to determine if it will, or will not, submit a “backup plan” for a two Council Plan (Option 2).  See below for the business papers and other reports/information.

It will, of course, be the Councillors who make this decision on Monday, but in the interim please come along to the SIRA General Community Meeting tomorrow to hear Mark Ferguson, General Manager, Pittwater Council give the background to this decision as well discuss our local issues, Church Point, Waste Water, Roads and Drainage, etc.

REMINDER:  SIRA GENERAL COMMUNITY MEETING TOMORROW, SUNDAY JUNE 28 AT 10:00 IN THE SCOTLAND ISLAND COMMUNITY HALL

SPECIAL GUEST: MARK FERGUSON - CLICK FOR AGENDA AND MORE

Please see the following information providing an update on the Fit for the Future process.
