An Evening Of Unnecessary Detail...

...hits London's glittering West End with our biggest and most detailed show ever! Scroll on for exclusive presales and discounted tickets just for mailing listers.

Plus a gig in New York City, a festival in Oxfordshire, and a chance to vote for "A Podcast Of Unnecessary Detail" in the British Podcast Awards.

Monday 20th November is Unnecessary Detail Night!

We're back! The three of us are taking over London's Cambridge Theatre in Covent Garden - the current home of Matilda the Musical - for one night only and we'd love you to join us.

From 7pm we'll be filling their gigantic stage with more detail than ever before, new stand-up, new songs, and some very special guests to be announced.

To show our appreciation of you - our finest, most digitally competent supporters - we've arranged secret early access to the best seats in the Stalls AND £5 off each of those seats.

Feel free to share that link with friends, family and colleagues over the weekend BUT please don't share it publicly, it's just for you. And don't dilly dally because the £5 off only works while Secret Stalls Supporter Seats are still avalable...

The show officially goes live on Monday at 10am, at which point our usual ticketing page will have info about how to buy regular price Stalls tickets and the cheaper Circle seats. Look out for that, and upcoming guest announcements, on our social media.

Monday 20th November is Maths Inspiration Day!

The eagle-eyed amongst you will notice that we're not alone in the Cambridge Theatre that day... the 10am-4pm slot is being filled by our friends Maths Inspiration as they host two of their brilliant interactive maths shows for students aged 14+.

If you're a Secondary School maths teacher - or studying for GCSEs or A Levels - this one is for you!

Gigs in New York City and Alex James' Cheese Farm

After the last sold-out AEOUD in New York City, Matt is back at Caveat on Thursday 13th July with another show featuring Stateside guests and hella detail, to raise money for WaterAid. It's also sold out, but if tickets become available they'll be here.

Then all three Nerds are heading to a family festival full of music, food and comedy called The Big Feastival on Saturday 26th August. If you want some bonus detail, it's happening on the grounds of a cheese farm in the Cotswolds owned by the bassist from Britpop legends Blur. Tickets are over here.

We know lots of you aren't near London, or even in the UK, but please hold the line... Plans are underway to livestream a different AEOUD show before the end of the year. Look out for more about that on our social feeds and in the next newsletter.
