Hello Gordon Mote Fans!
July was a crazy and busy month,
traveling to San Diego for the first weekend and participating in three of the greatest Patriotic Services ever with Dr. David Jeremiah and the great staff and congregation at Shadow Mountain Community Church in El Cajon.
We returned home for five days and then off to Seattle and a seven night Alaskan Cruise with Turning Point Ministries and Dr. J, The Martins and Saxophonist Uriel Vega.
After wonderful trip there we returned to the Atlanta area for two Sunday morning services at Dr. Charles Stanley's Atlanta First Baptist and then revisited old friends and Dr. Sampson at Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia.
We finished the month in Florida and there is more about that below.
The Mote family was able to enjoy some vacation time at one of their favorite places in the world, Harrington
House Beachfront Bed and Breakfast Inn at Anna Maria Island, Florida.
Located near Bradenton, Fl, this is a wonderful, beautiful, relaxing, warm and friendly place to really relax and unwind!
BUT . . . all good things come to an end, and it is almost time for back to school and all the busy things that go along with that!
Gordon was excited that while the entire family could not go, son Parker did accompany him on the Alaskan Cruise.
Some really great Father/Son times together!
Even had a little time for fishing and actually limited out that day on Salmon . . . great weather and great fun!

This past Sunday we had the honor of returning to the Plant City Church of God with Pastor Robert Herrin and the wonderful staff, choir and congregation.
It was special as this church is the very first that opened the doors to Gordon's music and now for almost twelve years they have upheld this ministry in prayer and friendship.
Little did we know on February 14, 2005 that God would allow us to travel all over the world sharing the Good news of the Gospel through song. Thanks for believing in and praying for this ministry!

We are excited!!
We have just been informed that Gordon is in the final nominations for the CMA award as “Musician of The Year”.
While he has garnered that award in many Christian/Gospel categories and three times the Academy of Country Music, this is the first time to be nominated by The Country Music Association (CMA). We all congratulate Gordon and thank God for this honor!
