Opticians ideally suited to offer service for Dry Eye sufferers
Are you one of a limited number of high street opticians or optometrists offering a specialised service for dry eye sufferers? Or are you considering to offer this service in the near future?
 
Dry eye is one of those conditions that can be difficult to manage for patients. GPs and Ophthalmic Consultants often don't have enough time, or may not consider the condition as serious enough, to give dry eye patients their special attention. This often leaves sufferers struggling to find the right treatment that works for them.
 
At the very least, patients should find picking up preservative-free eye drops as easy as getting a cup of coffee. For this reason we at TRB Chemedica have created a short video clip which shows how high street Opticians, or Optometrists, are ideally situated to offer patients a service in dry eye care.

Regular stock of VISMED® eye drops can be ordered through Mid Optic, Three-Sixty,  Butterflies Eyecare, John Bannon (ROI), and other wholesalers.

VISMED® eye drops can be stocked and sold as an OTC product; but the four preservative-free products are also available on NHS prescription (FP10).
