Only 12 weeks to go
The transition period that the UK is enjoying while the country leaves the EU ends on the 31st December - this means that there will be new regulations for anything coming into the country from the 1st January 2021.
What this means:
If the UK leaves the EU without a deal, then there will be import Duty on anything that comes into the country and additional Agents fees to get goods through Customs - these costs will, unfortunately, have to be added to the price of the goods.
In addition, a "no deal Brexit" will likely cause the £ to drop severely and, again, cause prices to rise.
The good news:
Anything arriving in the UK from the EU before the end of this year will be without Duty and Agents fees - so, if you are considering new microphones, studio monitor loudspeakers, codecs, etc. NOW is the time to get them.

The popular microphones are normally in stock, others can take longer, but few take longer than a month.
ME-Geithain
Loudspeakers in the standard Black Ash finish are normally shipped within 1-3 weeks. However, veneer and special finishes can take 8-10 weeks - so, if you are considering new monitors PLEASE don't delay because if they arrive in January they will be more expensive! Remember - the Christmas / New Year holiday is at the end of the year which can also affect delivery if you order late!

Codecs are normally 2-4 weeks delivery (though special arrangements can often be made in emergencies).
HUM Audio
Delivery is normally within 4 weeks for HUM ribbon microphones.

We do try to keep stock of all versions here in the UK and a new shipment is due shortly. I do anticipate a price rise next year on future shipments, but these have been the same price for about 8 years now and I do not anticipate the increase being too large.
If a miracle happens and the UK gets a good deal with the EU that means no Import Duty - then the £ is likely to remain at a reasonable level, though there will still be Agents fees. In this scenario the price is likely to remain similar to now, and there may also be a slight improvement that would offset Agents fees - we hope so.
But, to be sure, if you do need anything it is best to order soon so you can receive it this year.
This would be true for any products by any manufacture that come into the country from the EU, not just the ones we distribute.
