WCPF SUCCESS FOR BRISTOL
WCPF INTERCLUB COMPETITION 2026
This weekend saw half a dozen intrepid BPS members travel south down the M5 to Exeter to support BPS at the annual WCPF Interclub Competition. This is a competition where clubs within the Western Counties Photographic Federation compete for the honour of being the top club within the Federation for both prints and PDIs. Each competing club is required to submit fifteen prints and/or eighteen projected images. A total of 24 clubs entered the print section and 41 the projected image section, with the three judges awarding up to 5 points each for each image, giving a maximum of 15 points per image.
 
In the print section, BPS ran a very close Second with a total score of 195 points to our arch rivals, Dorchester, who scored 200. However, fortunes went in BPS's favour when we finished in First place with 232 points, beating Barnstaple CC into second place (224 points).
