HABITACLES

For his first collaboration with Galeria Nuno Centeno, Didier Fiúza Faustino questions the habitability of our world.
What remains when everything lies exposed—our bodies, our ideas, our identities?
How can we resist being dispossessed? How do we safeguard our physical, social, and mental integrity?
Each work interrogates notions of protection, intimacy, and community.
Like a quiet house still lit after a sleepless night, the artworks stand as attractive yet defiant habitacles.

HOUSE OF ECHOES

House of Echoes is a reinterpretation of the typical northern espigueiro, a familiar landmark of the Portuguese landscape
and an example of an architecture without architects. Conceived as a recording capsule for the Porto Design Biennale,
it is dedicated to sonic explorations in public space. A rich programme is still running until the end of March, thanks to collaborations
with faculties of the Polytechnic Institute of Porto and to the artistic direction of Lovers & Lollypops.
House of Echoes is located in Alameda das Fontainhas.

PERSONAL KINGDOM

Personal Kingdom is a nomadic pavilion. Temporarily installed in the UNESCO World Heritage natural site of Pantalica,
it is designed to travel in a procession and allow people to sit on its throne and momentarily embrace the landscape.
