Clay Objects-Past and present aesthetics
Main Gallery at Nubuke Foundation from ongoing till 28 February 2014
 
A visitor trying her hands with clay at the ongoing exhibition which has a diverse collection of clay objects from Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, Mali, Burkina Faso. Other contemporary works on display from Ato Arinze, Mr. Lovi, K.K. Broni, Kwame Amoah and Kofi Setordji and Max Wagner.
Come to ongoing demonstrations by artists in workshop from Tuesday to Friday.
 
At the Nu Gallery from 7 December- 28 February 2014
Ongoing at the Nu Gallery from 8 December will be selection of works from Yaw Obuobi, Ato Arinze and others. Yaw Oboubi has mastered the art of creating yarn and spun wool collages. Must be seen.

Forthcoming Exhibitions
'Du Bois in our time'
Opening at Du Bois Centre 5/6 March 2014 till 13 April 2014
 
Final presentations of works by Ghanaian and UK artists, Bernard Akoi-Jackson, Adwoa Amoah, Ato Annan, Yaganoma Baatuolkuu, Serge Clottey, Kelvin Haizel, Kwesi Ohene-Ayeh , Mawuli Toffah, and Mary Evans. Mullti-media and site specific works will be presented in the Du Bois Museum and Mausoleum after several months of exploring the legacy of civil rights leader and Pan-Africanist, WEB Du Bois, in our present era. Opening events will include a discussion, talk with artists and scholars, poetry and workshops over the 2 days. A related programme and exhibition at UMCA, Amherst has just ended in December 2013. Workshops, Drama and other news...
Family Silhouette Workshop at Du Bois Centre at 12:00pm on 6 March 2014
 
Mary Evans will conduct a workshop for children taking them through creating silhouette portraits with simple techniques. This was a popular craft employed during the times of WEB Du Bois' times. These are based on techniqes she employs in her works using paper and stencils.
Cafe is now open Monday to Friday for breakfast, light bites, lunch and refreshing drinks
There is something for everyone at the Gift Shop, now relocated inside the Nu Gallery.
Library is open to the public during normal weekday opening hours..
