Pee Dee State Farmer's Market Spring Flower Show
Happy Tuesday Everyone! I hope our newsletter finds you doing well, and that your daylilies are happy and healthy too! We've really enjoyed the first few weeks of the daylily season, and visiting with those of you who've dropped by. It's early yet, and scapes are just beginning to show in some of the flowers, but this season promises to be exceptional.
This weekend we'll be attending the Pee Dee State Farmer's Market Spring Flower Show. We'll be there Thursday the 18th through Sunday April 21st. In the past we've met many of you there and hope you'll have an opportunity to visit with us there again. We'll have several of our varieties on display and available for those of you who want to add to your daylily garden.
Given our visit to the Farmer's Market this w/end, our nursery will be closed to the public this Friday. However, we'll have someone available to visit with you at our nursery this Thursday and Saturday, per our normal schedule, as we've made arrangements to be at both locatios this w/end, except for Friday.

Crazy Growth
As I alluded to earlier, we've seen really strong growth in our daylilies this season so far. I took a few pictures earlier this morning to share how well some of the flowers are doing. In the pictures below, you'll see excellent growth in one of our new flower beds. All of the flowers in this bed were planted last Fall. Isn't this exceptional? If you'd like some guidance on how to get the best growth out of your daylilies, don't hesitate to ask us. The below bed has 4 varieties in it; Rangerette Revels, Fabulous Favorite, South Seas, and You've Got Soul. We find the amazing growth characteristics of these flowers extraordinary, and recommend them for additions any daylily garden that doesn't have them

As I'm sure you realize, we're very excited about this season, and can't wait to see the blooms. As your schedule allows, you should try to visit us in Mid to Late May. Flowers will be spectacular then!

As a reminder, our nursery is open from 9 am to 4 pm Thursday-Saturdays for visitors, beginning April 4th through July 3rd. We're closed July 4th through the end of August, but open again Sept through Oct for Fall planting. That said, we live at our nursery, so if you want to come another time just call ahead, and we'll do our best to accommodate.

Delivery Service
Ask about our delivery service. We're happy to deliver flowers to those who prefer to order flowers and have them delivered. We will deliver w/in an hour or so drive of our nursery home. There is a delivery fee of $25, and we ask for a total order of $100 minimum to qualify for delivery.

Our Nursery Home is located at: 3954 Hemingway Highway, Hemingway, SC 29554. We're easy to find. Our home/nursery is right across from the Stuckey sign as you exit Stuckey going west on Hwy 261.

We are open at 3954 Hemingway Highway, Hemingway, SC 29554. You'll be able to find us by taking Hwy 261 West of Hemingway about 4 miles. We're in the white colonial and you'll see a yellow sign with a purple daylily out by the road. If you'd like to visit with one of us at the nursery during non-business hours, please call our main number at 843-933-5675, or Lucille at 919-306-4329. We'd be happy to coordinate a day and time that works for you to drop by.
Also, when you visit us, make a day of it and have lunch at Scott's Barbeque. Scott's is just down the road from us, and has won national awards and recognition for their Barbeque. We're fortunate to have the restaurant down the road, and often rush down and grab a plate of Southern Cooked Barbeque. Yum Yum!

The easiest method of ordering is via our website's shopping cart: Our web site's shopping cart shows thumbnail photos of every daylily that one puts in it. Put everything that you like in the cart, review details by clicking on name or photo shown in cart, remove cultivars from cart until you arrive at the # you wish to purchase, and then place your order online. If you do not wish to order at one sitting just log out and then log back in whenever you are ready to resume. Everything that you left in your cart when you logged out will still be there.
