Dear Macro members,
Greetings! We invite you to submit proposals for our 2019 Musician's Workshop. The workshop will be held at Monona Terrace in Madison, Wisconsin on June 14-15, 2019.
We will again be offering a mini workshop on theory teaching techniques to launch our event on June 14. Jazz up your theory classroom with our 2019 mini workshop ! Topics will include using jazz for aural skills development and ideas for jazz harmony and analysis in your theory classroom!
As always, we are also looking for standard presentations including music theory, theory pedagogy, performance or analysis, as well as technology and interactive presentations. Please take a moment to read through the attached file for all of this year's workshop information. Please send all submissions to email@example.com
We also offer two other presentation formats. Bring your best teaching pieces to share in our "Favorites Session." We also offer our "Pitches Session" which is perfect for any small special topic ideas you would like to introduce.
Congratulations to this year's MACRO Composer Competition Winner Andrew List! Andrew is a Professor of Composition at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. Come join us at our June workshop to hear Andrew present and talk about his piece "Time Cycles."
Best wishes for a great semester, and I hope to hear from many of you soon with proposals for the workshop!
We hope to see all of you in June!
