TSE All-Share Index
The Tehran Stock Exchange All-Share Index finished the day up 1.92% at 1,611,582. Chemicals (+4.07%) saw the highest increase among sectors, while the biggest faller of the day was Paper Products (-2.72%). Oil Products (-0.21%) was the market volume leader with trades totaling IRR 21,125 billion (approx. USD 75 million). Persian Gulf Petrochemical Co. (+4.57%) Mobarakeh Steel Co. (FOLD +3.92%) and Tamin Petroleum & Petrochem. Ind. Co. (TAPP +4.96%) were the main movers of the All-Share Index. Esfahan Oil Refining Co. (PNES -1.79%) was the most traded stock with IRR 9,042 billion (approx. USD 32 million) of shares exchanged. The total traded value of the market reached IRR 143,237 billion (approx. USD 511 million), up 22% from the previous trading session.
TSE30 Index
The TSE30 index of the 30 largest companies by market capitalization closed at 85,600 for a gain of 2.43%. The biggest riser was Tamin Petroleum & Petrochem. Ind. Co. (TAPP +4.96%) while Parsian Bank (BPAS -2.76%) dropped the most. Total traded value of the top 30 stocks reached IRR 60,047 billion (approx. USD 213 million), down 11% from the previous trading session. |
