want to find out what Marlborough’s favorite family game is! Print the
form and instructions from our website or pick up outside at RML during
curbside hours beginning Wednesday,
November 4. Return the sheets by Wednesday, November 25, to be entered to win a Game Night Pizza Dinner from Marlborough’s favorite pizza place (you get to vote on that, too!) Game sheets can be emailed to
ewashburnrml@gmail.com or dropped outside in a box at the Library during regular hours.

Noah's Ark Animal Workshop Fundraiser

The Richmond Memorial Library is pleased to announce a new fundraiser! Order forms can be printed from our website or picked up at the library during Library2Go Curbside Pickup hours. *NOTE: The Neon Unicorn is no longer available. However, Noah's Ark has offered us a new unicorn and we will be sharing the image on our social media pages soon. Pajama Storytime with Ms. Nancy, Ms. Eileen, and Ms. Patty

Ms. Nancy, Ms. Eileen, and Ms. Patty are hosting a very special pajama storytime (that's right, they'll be in their jammies and fuzzy slippers!) on Tuesday, November 17, at 7 pm on Zoom. They will be sharing some of their favorite stories from home! Join us for the pre-bedtime fun. Recommended for ages 3-8. Email richmondprograms@gmail.com to register.

Thanksgiving Window Browsing

If you're wondering what cookbooks are available to help you prepare your Thanksgiving dinner, we have a new window display up that showcases some of our most popular holiday cookbooks. If you see something you like, call the library and we'll arrange Library2Go Curbside Pickup. For those who may not have a printer at home, we can also print out recipes and arrange pickup through Library2Go Curbside Printing.

Christmas Movies Binge Bundles

Ms. Eileen and Ms. Nancy will host virtual storytimes for children ages 2-3 beginning at 10 am on Monday, December 7, and for children ages 3-5 on Fridays at 10 am on November 13 and 20 and December 11. Each storytime will include a Library2Go craft kit that parents can pick up a few days prior to the scheduled program.

Richmond Memorial Library is available for Library2Go curbside pickup Mondays through Thursdays from 10 AM to 6 PM and Fridays and Saturdays, 10 AM to 4 PM. The library building is not open to the public at this time.
We have started to and will continue to host virtual programs for all age groups. Additional information will be found on our website and social media pages, including video tutorials on how to access the virtual formats these programs will be offered in.
Wednesday, November 18 at 6 pm, Financial Wellness Wednesday: Insurance Planning and Risk Management: Learn
about life insurance, including the different risk areas and the proper
ways to mitigate the risk of loss, damage, illness, or death. To

Friday, November 20 at 3 pm, Virtual Planetarium Field Trip: Constellations and Night Sky: Adults
and teens, enjoy a planetarium experience (using the same Nightshade NG
Planetarium Software used in the planetarium's facility) from the
comfort of your own home! The 30-45 minute presentation will be hosted
live with a trained planetarium educator from Tyler Junior College
Center for Earth and Space Science in Tyler, Texas. Email

Friday, December 4 at 5 pm, Notorious RBG: The Life and Times of Ruth Bader Ginsburg: Enjoy a prerecorded video presentation of Curator Arielle Weininger discussing the life of Ruth Bader Ginsberg and the exhibition that is currently being held at the Illinois Holocaust Museum, complete with embedded audio, video, and photographs of artifacts as seen in the exhibition. Following the video, there will be a live Q&A session with a museum docent.
