Over the years the Austrian company HERZ has become an established specialist for renewable energy systems. Traditionally HERZ Energietechnik and HERZ Armaturen GmbH are a valuable part of the EE&RE. 2019 will not be an exception and visitors from Bulgaria and abroad are welcome to their stand.

INTERVIEW with Mr. Anton Voynoski

HERZ Armatura EOOD has been the official representative of HERZ for Bulgaria for more than 10 years. How has the market here developed through the years and how does the company respond to the clients’ demand? The thinking of the consumers has changed. People think more sustainable. So the thinking goes more and more to CO2-neutral & environment friendly heating systems. Of course the fossil fuel (oil & gas) prices have been very low in the last years but the prices of those are very unstable and can change very fast. On the other side fuels like pellets, wood chips and log wood can be obtained directly from the region and the prices are stable. With the innovative thinking, the service partners and the support for the customers all over the world HERZ covers all points, which are important for a client.
For more and more people it is important to ensure environmental protection through their consumer behavior. Please tell us how HERZ boilers respond to this trend?
In the HERZ research and development center new innovations are tested day by day. The aim of these innovations is to reduce the emissions and to increase efficiency. The best example for such an innovation is the pellet-condensing-boiler pelletstar CONDENSATION 10-60.
EuroACE - the European Alliance of Companies for Energy Efficiency in Buildings, works to promote energy efficiency in buildings in all relevant EU policies. The Alliance recently published the amendment of the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD) that is one of the most important changes that has occurred in the EU buildings sector in the last 15 years.
In 2018, a new Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD) has been agreed at EU level. Now, it is up to every Member State to transpose and implement new energy efficiency requirements for buildings, in order for Europe to reach the objective of a highly energy efficiency and decarbonised building stock by 2050. In that framework, EuroACE – the European Alliance of Companies for Energy Efficiency in Buildings, has developed a Guide to EPBD Implementation, to help everyone with implementing new requirements on building renovation.
