- Material presented in plastic, nylon,
hessian bags, cardboard or foam boxes and untied
bundles, will not be collected.
- Place your vegetation in the road reserve outside
your property for collection.

will not be collected.
The SIRA Recreation Club will be hosting coffee mornings
outside the Community Hall one Sunday of every month,
commencing in March 2020. Gemma Rasdall will be our
barista and food to purchase with your tea and
coffee will be available.
Funds raised will be used to purchase equipment for more
activities in the future. We are eager to begin some boat
repair/maintenance workshops and are looking forward to
more suggestions.
We are having a logo and naming competition for the café
(hence lack of catchy title and pictures now) so please
submit your suggestions to rriredale@gmail.com.
A panel of judges will be established to decide on the
best entry. The winner will have their name inscribed on
the logo/name plaque.

“The Inquiry is welcoming submissions from across the

support personnel, organisations and the general public,”
Mr Griffin said.
“In particular I encourage our local Rural Fire Service
brigades and volunteers to share their expert knowledge to
ensure we are best prepared for the next bushfire season.”
The Inquiry will also be travelling to bushfire affected
communities to meet with and hear directly from people who
have been impacted. The Inquiry will inform local
communities ahead of all visits to ensure it reaches as
many people as possible.

The 2019/20 Bush Fire Season has been one of the worst on
record. Whilst we haven't been directly impacted by fire,
our fire fighters have been fighting fires in other areas
since September last year and our communities have worked
hard to prepare and to mitigate bush fire risks. It's been
a real team effort.
As the season comes to an end, we've organised a special
event for our community to come together to celebrate what
we've achieved and to reflect and remember the tragedy and
loss.
Please help by registering in advance here End of Bush
Fire Season Fire Shed Party (you can still pay when
you arrive, but please register to help us with catering -
credit card payments accepted). www.sirfb.org.au

This is a beautiful one day workshop for girls who are
beginning puberty. The honouring of the changes is done
gently by spending time in nature and through
participating in creative processes. It is a day of deep
connection to the whole of themselves, there bodies, mind,
spirit and soul.
You are very welcome to get your own group of girls
together and we can discuss a convenient date.
Wharf
tie up wanted to rent or in exchange for care of
your home.
We are looking for a safe place on the island to tie
up our polycraft boat until a position at Carols or Cargo
becomes available. We do use the boat Monday to Wednesday
and at other odd times but could avoid doing so on the
weekends if that assisted in respecting your privacy.
We would be willing to pay for a position on a jetty or
perhaps you may prefer to have us keep an eye on your
property if you are not resident at all times.
If you are open to this possibility could you please call
