TSE All-Share Index
The TSE All-Share Index edged lower today, closing down 0.13% at 98,300. The majority of sectors ended in negative territory. The top performing sector of the day was Engineering Services (+1.03%), boosted by MAPNA Group (MAPN +1.05%). The weakest sector was Financial Markets Management (-1.49%). Chemicals (-0.00%) sector posted the highest turnover with IRR 416 billion (approx. USD 8.9 million) in trades. The All-Share Index was impacted most by Esfahan Mobarakeh Steel Co. (FOLD -1.62%), Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Co. (PKLJ -0.80%) and Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Co. (PNBA +2.05%). The highest trading volume was posted by Behshahr Industrial Development Corporation (SHOY -0.42%) with IRR 157 billion (approx. USD 3.3 million) of trades. The market’s total traded value fell 20.6% to IRR 2,033 billion (approx. USD 44 million).
TSE30 Index
The TSE30 index of the thirty largest companies by market capitalization closed down 0.24% at 4,358. Mines and Metals Development Investment Co. (MADN +2.80%) rose the most, while Iran Khodro (IKCO -3.05%) was the weakest in the top 30s. Total traded value of the top 30s dropped 29.6% to IRR 434 billion (approx. USD 9.3 million).
