Tercentenary Appointments to Grand Rank

  
Earlier this year it was announced that by way of celebrating the 300th Anniversary of Grand Lodge the MW the Grand Master would make additional appointments and promotions to Grand Rank. Each Province was invited to recommend two brethren to receive a first appointment to Grand Rank and one brother to receive a promotion.
The Provincial Grand Master made those recommendations and is delighted to report that offer letters have now been received by the brethren concerned.
Their Investiture will take place at the Quarterly Communication of Grand lodge on 14th March 2018.
 
The appointments are:
 
 
 
W Bro S. Elfan Bell PPrGSwdB, Provincial Grand Orator, who will be appointed to the rank of Past Assistant Grand Director of Ceremonies
 
 
 
 
W Bro Dirk den-Hartog PPrSGW, Communications Officer, who will also be appointed to the rank of Past Assistant Grand Director of Ceremonies

 
 
 
 
Being promoted is W Bro D Gethin Lewis MBE, PAGDC, PPrGTreasurer who will be promoted to the rank of Past Junior Grand Deacon.
 
These are all well-known brethren who have worked hard for the good of Freemasonry in their lodges, in the Province, and indeed beyond. We congratulate them all on their preferment and wish them good health and fortune to enjoy their new ranks for many years to come.
 
The “usual” appointments which are conferred in April each year will be announced in due course and in the normal manner.
