Dear Biante Collector,
Today I have taken the extraordinary step of moving tooling for our Ford BF Falcon V8 Supercar, in all three scales, from one of our factories to another. This is something I did not want to have to do, as I know a lot of you have been patiently waiting for these cars for some time.
The primary reason for this has been a lack of co-operation from the factory that was doing development of the BF for us, and also a lack of quality in the prototypes we have seen to date.
We therefore have moved this project to a new factory in order to maintain the high levels of quality you demand from us as an Australian Model Car Manufacture. This was the only Biante program this factory was working on, so no other Biante programs will be affected by this change.
I would therefore like to apologise to you – the collector – and to our very patient race teams, Dick Johnson Racing, Britek and Paul Cruickshank Racing, who have been waiting for their BF Falcon models now for some time.
The move to this new factory will inevitably lead to a further delay in the production of these models, and we would now expect to see these models in or around mid 2010.
Once again, we apologies for this delay and hope that you will continue to be patient with us as we strive to deliver a better product to you.
