TSE All-Share Index
Investors witnessed the TSE
All-Share Index in positive territory today, closing at 76,272, 0.14% higher
than yesterday. Ceramics & Tiles (+2.51%) was the top performing sector,
while the steepest drop was seen by the Sugar sector (-1.76%). As usual,
Automotive (+1.42%) was the market value leader with IRR 231 billion (approx.
USD 6 million) worth of trades. The top positive drivers of the All-Share
Index were Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Co. (PKLJ +0.62%), SAIPA
Group (SIPA +1.41%) and Iran Khodro (IKCO +1.24%). The highest daily trade
volume was recorded by Azarab Industries Co. (AZAB +2.18%) with IRR 85
billion (approx. USD 2.3 million) worth of trades. Similar to yesterday, the
total daily value of trade was mostly influenced by block trades and trade in
participation bonds. The TSE’s traded value declined by 16% to IRR 2,838
billion (approx. USD 79 million).
TSE30 Index
The TSE30 index, the index of the
thirty largest companies by market capitalization, was almost unchanged,
closing at 3,086, 0.05% higher than yesterday. SAIPA Group (SIPA +1.41%) rose
the most in the top 30s, while Parsian Bank (BPAR -0.45%) was the weakest.
In total, the traded value of the top 30 stocks stood at IRR 170 billion
(approx. USD 4 million), 44% lower than yesterday.
