Help Feed Shelter Animals

As always, don't forget to visit these sites as often as
you can and click on the shelter-feed links. There is no
cost to you to do this.

One of the most common concerns for pet owners is
odors, and cats seem to be able to produce the worst
kind. On top of that, it can be so very hard to
eliminate them.

One product I just saw on television is called Stream
Clean. You can get it at www.buystreamclean.com.
I have no connection with that site and do not make
a dime on sales. However, I wasn't going to recommend
it, either. It's very expensive. It's $10 per can,
plus 7.95 shipping, and is only in the U.S. They have
a 2 for 1 special, but it's an extra 7.95 shipping.
That makes the total order 25.90 for 2 cans.

In my book, that's outrageous.

If you want something cheaper and know it will work,
go to valleyvet.com. I don't have any connection with
them either, but I know how important it is to be
able to clean up pet messes without leaving a stain.

Once at that site, do a search for "See Spot Go."
It's the ONLY product I've ever used that actually
works. And it's only 5.95 per can.

Shipping will vary according to how much you get,
of course. I always buy a case of 12! With 43 cats,
I go through a lot of it.

Well, just my unbiased recommendation. If you know
of something that works, let us know!

With warmer weather now here, fleas are once again
a very big problem. They can still be a problem
through the cold winter months, too, but summer
seems to bring out the worst!

Here's an article from last year that still may be

Here's another (NEW) article about fleas:

How to help the animals:

1. http://www.hipaws.com/help.html
Help feed the ones that never got adopted.

2. Always remember to check with your local shelter
to see what they need. Your donation will go directly
to the animals, in sharp contrast to some of the large
national groups, whose donation income goes toward
large administrative salaries and other expenses, not
necessarily for animals.

3. Buy my books if you haven't yet. Sales are used to
help support all the cats here. Thank you.

Be sure to click on the Book List link to see the
other books that are available, too.
