Ainslie + Gorman Arts Centres, The National Folk Festival and Nomadic Fish present
(with special guest Aine Tyrrell)

Born in Dublin, now living on the wild windswept west coast of Ireland, this extraordinary spinner of song weaves his soulful melodies through half-remembered moments and dreams long-treasured. Larrikin and poet, his songs are infused with wit, the yearning of history and the patience of mortality; the balm of tenderness and the breath of hope.  Live in concert, O'Rourke moves seamlessly from hilarious spontaneity to transporting beauty.

National Folk Festival is delighted to welcome new Volunteer Manager, Sarah Boyd to the team.
Sarah comes to us with a wealth of experience having managed volunteers at Adelaide Fringe Festival and, has also volunteered at numerous festivals including NFF. We are looking forward to working with Sarah over the coming months as we prepare for our 52nd #ourNFF.
We'd also like to take this opportunity to remind you all that Volunteer applications will open on 1 November. If you love music, want to support folk artists and culture or, you simply want to be surrounded by great people, then please think about joining us in 2018. We'd love your help and there are many different ways to get involved. Watch this space.

Our popular Package of Days is a great option for those who can't attend the whole weekend and want to share the Festival with family or friends. This cost effective package gives you 4 discounted day tickets and allows a number of options.
If you buy now at the EB2 rate you and a friend could enjoy 2 days each at the Festival for as little as $83.25 a day (Adult ticket). Think of the possibilities - you could buy 4 friends a ticket each for Christmas or, use one yourself and invite 3 friends to join you....
Package of Days is only available during EB2 & EB3 and the price will increase in EB3. In each Early Bird selling period Package of Days numbers are capped so ensure you purchase your tickets early to avoid disappointment. Once they're gone they're gone! Prices are at the EB2 rate until 31 October. For more information visit the website.

Our bustling Community Arts Program is looking for experienced artisans and facilitators to lead exciting new workshops at the Festival in 2018. We would love to hear from creative folk who are able to share their skills with our keen attendees by leading small groups in a workshop format. For the first time we are also opening up this program to our talented volunteer base to apply as presenters.
Please spread the word to artisans in your networks, particularly if they teach a skill you would love to see at next year’s Festival.
