NEWS & ADVENTURES of a Philosophical Folk Songstress                                   ~  May 2011
Hi Friends,
I hope you are well and enjoying the heartbreaking and beautiful journey that is life.
Welcome all those new to this newsletter, from the inhabitants of Two Day Town Music Festival to the Spiritual Entrepeuners in San Francisco to the attendees of the Songwriter's Showcase in Gilroy... I've had a great few weeks of shows and met some wonderful new people. Yay!
This is a just a quick reminder about the last two shows I'll be playing in the San Francisco/Monterey Bay Areas for a while. In fact, I hear that Judgement Day is this Saturday (tomorrow), so I suppose this could be the very last show I play! ~ Sat 5/21/11 East Village Coffee Lounge, Monterey,CA.
If not, there's one more coming up on Thurs 6/9/11 at Don Quixotes International Music Hall in Felton, CA with Inga Swearingen & Round Mountain (details below). After that, I begin my 3rd annual Pacific Northwest summer tour. We're still finalizing all that, so I'll send you the dates again before I go.
I'm trying to be more active on facebook, since it seems that's where everyone is these days... You can find me there or just stick it out the old fasioned way with these email newsletters. I'm happy & grateful staying in touch either way.
~ in peace, love & music,

p.s. the links on the two shows above will take you to the facebook event where you can say you're coming to the show and help me fee less worried I'll be playing to empty chairs

We had such a successful concert together in January, we thought  we'd do it again! Join us for an evening of song rooted in family,  nature and human spirit. Listeners travel down a dusty road of rugged beauty that combines jazz, American grit, and global  traditional music. I'll open the evening then stick around for the incredible voice of Inga Swearingen and the jawdropping talent of the Round Mountain brothers. More about them and here: This shows kicks off my summer tour 2011!
