TSE All-Share Index
The Tehran Stock Exchange All-Share Index finished the day down 1.52% at 1,492,939. Utility Service Providers (+0.89%) saw the highest increase among sectors, while the biggest faller of the day was Telecommunication (-4.59%). Base Metals (-2.44%) was the market volume leader with trades totaling IRR 16,294 billion (approx. USD 54 million). National Iranian Copper Ind. Co. (MSMI -3.46%) Persian Gulf Petrochemical Co. (PKLJ -2.16%) and Mobarakeh Steel Co. (FOLD -2.40%) were the main movers of the All-Share Index. Mobarakeh Steel Co. (FOLD -2.40%) was the most traded stock with IRR 6,457 billion (approx. USD 21 million) of shares exchanged. The total traded value of the market reached IRR 86,836 billion (approx. USD 295 million), up 223% from the previous trading session.
TSE30 Index
The TSE30 index of the 30 largest companies by market capitalization closed at 76,226 for a loss of 2.54%. The biggest riser was Tamin Petroleum & Petrochem. Ind. Co. (TAPP +4.73%) while Esfahan Oil Refining Co. (PNES -4.98%) dropped the most. Total traded value of the top 30 stocks reached IRR 48,327 billion (approx. USD 161 million), up 343% from the previous trading session. |
