Linda Hubbard (B.A. Accounting ’82) returned to campus on Oct. 12 as the featured speaker of the 2023 Sylvan T. Warrington Visiting Lectureship in Ethics and Leadership. In a “fireside chat,” she spoke to Interim Dean Judith Whipple and hundreds of graduate and MBA students on core values at Carhartt and what makes a great leader.

Pung Speaker Series: Alumna Dalana Brand on leading through crisis and transformation
|
As the first speaker of the 2023–24 Roy S. Pung Executive Speaker Series, Dalana Brand (B.A. Finance ’95, MBA Finance and Human Resources ’01), former chief diversity officer at Twitter, now known as X, and current chief people officer at Peloton, shared valuable information with students on navigating complex changes in the corporate landscape.

Advait Paliwal named 2023 Mark F. Rieth Scholar in Entrepreneurship Studies
|
Entrepreneur Mark Rieth (B.A. General Business ’89) established the scholarship to give back to the Spartan community. Advait Paliwal, a junior majoring in Computer Science and minoring in Business, is the co-founder and CEO of YouLearn.AI, an artificial intelligence tutor designed to help users understand and master concepts from published content.
