wiaiwya-7777777 2013

wiaiwya-7777777 2012 was such a success we're doing it all over again... yup, that's another 7 awesome bands on another seven beautiful 7" singles, released on each day of the week, on the 7th day of 7 months, throughout 2013... the bands?... of course... we have, in no particular order, exclusive singles from Darren HaymanJeff MellinHong Kong In The 60s, SourpatchPupsComet Gain and the Middle Ones!

new Eux Autres 7"
we're on the home straight with 2012's wiaiwya-77777, which means the new Eux Autres single is out on the 7th November... three tracks, yellow vinyl, sleevenotes from Sean Price, big cheese at fortuna POP!... imagine a boy/girl rubinoos for the 21st century, with a fondness for Slade, Pavement and the Vaselines, and you'll be almost half way there...

new Allo Darlin 7"

the final release of 2012's wiaiwya-7777777 is the brand new Christmas single from Allo Darlin... it's every bit a beautiful as you think it will be, and extremely limited, so get your order in sharpish... the 70s had Merry Christmas Everyone, the 80s had Last Christmas, the 90s had Fairytale of New York (despite being released in '87 - bear with me), the 00s had the X Factor & Rage Against The Machine...

and NOW we have ALLO DARLIN's ONLY DUST REMAINS... oh yes!

David Tattersall & Little Martha...

David Tattersall's Little Martha was released on 29th October, the anniversary of Duane Allman's death... all pre-orders should have received their signed copies of the album... if you haven't yet heard this amazing album of guitar instrumentals just pop over to the Bandcamp page or blog (where you can also read David's posts about his guitar heroes)

Sportique's Communique #9...

each month we'll be offering a classic album from the wiaiwya back catalogue at the unbelivable price of £5:00 - YES REALLY!

so during November we have Sportique's 3rd album, the Peel favourite Communique #9... buzzcocks, razorcuts and redskins all rolled into a perfect (and short) riot pop album... it's the record the Cribs angry uncles would have made...

lots of 7 related stuff this month... hope you can all sign up to next year's wiaiwya-7777777 singles club, it promises to be a bit SPECIAL

Thanks for reading, speak soon
