Luckily, our farm doesn't get too hot, thanks to all the beautiful trees surrounding it. The flowers are blooming, the horses are happily grazing in the fields, and every morning I'm reminded how lucky I am to live & teach Dutch in such a peaceful place.

Many of you have asked whether I would organize summer courses this year... and the answer is yes! If you've been looking for an intensive but fun way to boost your Dutch, this is your chance. You'll find some of the upcoming dates in the infographics below (to stay informed, join my WhatsApp list see info at tha bottom of this mail).
However, if you've been curious about my courses but aren't quite ready to commit to a full immersion program, the upcoming Walk & Talk is the perfect place to start. It's a fun, relaxed, and low-pressure way to experience my teaching style while enjoying the beautiful Dutch countryside around Holten.
We'll chat, walk, practice Dutch naturally, and you'll discover that learning a language can be enjoyable, practical, and surprisingly relaxing. Who knows... it might be the beginning of your Dutch adventure! You may even discover that you're more confident speaking Dutch than you thought—and ready to take an official Dutch exam.
This year, the CNaVT exam will be offered in a completely computer-based format for the first time. I've been an official CNaVT examiner since 1990, when I was teaching Dutch in New York, so it's fascinating to see how much the exam has evolved over the years. From now on, I will offer this exam in November instead of May.
