Call for Proposals: Olive Tree Foundation Grants
The Olive Tree Foundation is pleased to announce its call for proposals, inviting applications from eligible Canadian charitable organizations. We are dedicated to fostering positive change within our communities by supporting initiatives that address critical needs and promote long-term well-being.
Our Mission:
The Olive Tree Foundation is a Canadian charity that promotes community development through the collection of endowed funds, the earnings of which are used to fund compelling needs and priorities in society.
Funding Priorities:
For 2025, the Olive Tree Foundation is prioritizing projects that address the following key areas:
-Anti-racism/Islamophobia: Initiatives that combat discrimination and promote inclusive communities.
-Indigenous: Projects that support Indigenous communities and advance reconciliation.
-Interfaith: Programs that foster understanding and cooperation between diverse faith groups.
-Climate Action: Projects that address climate change and promote environmental sustainability.
-Youth: Initiatives that empower and support young people.
Eligibility:
Applicants must be registered Canadian charities with the Canada Revenue Agency or be sponsored by an organization with charitable registration.
-Projects must align with the Olive Tree Foundation's mission and funding priorities.
-Projects must demonstrate a clear and measurable impact on the community.
Grant Details:
Stage One – Project Introduction Form
The next deadline for the Project Introduction Form is May 31, 2025. Grants of up to $5K are awarded to successful applicants.
The Grants Committee will review applicant’s ‘Project Introduction Form’ for basic eligibility and relationship to OTF’s objectives and priorities. The Committee will then decide whether to ask the applicant to complete a Grant Application for formal consideration for funding.
Successful project proposals will be shortlisted and invited to submit a full Grant Application.
