DOUBLE DATES AT PANACHE - Due to public demand Panache has now moved us to a larger inside stage. This month we play Panache on Saturdays, April 13, and April 27. The new showtime is 8:30 to 11:30 PM. Next month we move to their outdoor stage. http://www.panachewoodfiregrill.com Valet parking.
FARACOS RULES! - We return to our favorite pizzeria on Friday, April 19. Faracos is conveniently located right off the Quakertown exit. Showtime is 6:00 to 9:00 PM. Try the tomato pie. No valet parking.
420 EARTH DAY CELEBRATION! - Even though Earth Day is officially on Monday, April 22, Mighty Manatees co-founder Ray Adkins and I will give a free concert as part of Phoenixville's Earth Day Celebration on Saturday afternoon, April 20, at Reservoir Park, 601 Franklin Ave. Ray and I play outside from 2:00 to 3:00 PM. There will be food from El Burrito, dancing from Feet First, art from Earth Arts Gallery, dozens of vendors and exhibits, Frisbee lessons, and nature walks. PA Rep. Paul Friel and PA Senator Kathy Muth will speak on climate legislation Come and celebrate your favorite planet!
OLD DOGS AT THE STRAY DOG - Marv and his crew have made some nice changes to The Stray Dog Tavern over the winter. Our quartet will be back there on Friday, April 26, from 8:00 to 11:00 PM. ANNUAL SELLERSVILLE THEATER SHOW! - Tickets are now on sale for our annual Sellersville Theater show. This year it takes place on Saturday, May 25. Opening for us will be the reggae trio San Noche. On a final note, all of us were very saddened to learn of the recent passing of our longtime Manatees friend and fan Lisa Nolan. Our hearts go out to her loved ones. Lisa will be dearly missed.
