CLASSICAR GARAGE NEWSLETTER 217, 28 AUGUST 2026

Dear classic car enthusiast,

Over the past period, many classics, vintage cars, and sports cars have been driven, photographed, and sold. A super‑original and rare Alfasud Sprint Veloce 1.5 and a perfect Lancia 2000 HF Coupé found new owners within just a few days. Today, I present a varied selection of fifteen newly arrived vehicles, including seven Lancia models from the 1964–1995 period. The evolution and diversity of these cars once again highlight how exceptional the Lancia marque truly is.

Noteworthy is the return of an impressive Jaguar XK140 SE DHC: previously sold via ClassicarGarage and, after twenty‑two years in Germany, now back in front of my camera lens. Choosing ‘highlights’ is difficult this time; every car is special or carries a wonderful history. The overall quality is remarkably high, and I would gladly own each one myself — always a good sign. Technical highlights include the updated restoration projects at Classic Job, S2 Classic Cars, and Altena Classic Service, which you will find below.

Ten years ago, I created hundreds of ‘first person view’ 360‑degree videos in which viewers could ride along with me, as in this Ferrari 412. This week, we began producing new 'first person previews', recorded with special Ray‑Ban META glasses. They allow you to experience presentations, company visits, and test drives exactly as I see (and hear) them: direct, unfiltered, and real. We are still experimenting; the first results are now available on Facebook, including a presentation of newly arrived cars at Classic Open and a test drive in a very exclusive Morgan Plus Six!

Follow our 'daily' posts and news on FacebookInstagram and on X!

Sincerely,

Marc Vorgers
