Battlefield Band will be appearing in concert
at the Isle of Colonsay's Ceòl Cholasa festival on Thursday 11th Sept. The superb Aaron Jones (Old Blind Dogs, Litha, Kate Rusby) will be appearing with the group as a special guest and you can find details and ticket information below.

Ceol Cholasa runs from the 11th-14th September and other artists appearing this year include Bella Hardy, Rura, Kathleen MacInnes, Dave Francey, Anna Massie, Mairearad Green & Pauline Alexander. The festival also features acoustic concerts, sessions, workshops & ceilidhs.

This concert is the final show in a series which have been Battlefield Band's first performances in Scotland since being awarded ‘Album of the Year’ at the 2013 MG Alba Scots Trad Music Awards, and being named as the Vox Pop winner in the ‘World Traditional Song’ Category at the 13th Independent Music Awards

First released in 2002, this is an album from a mature & confident musician, hailed as one of the most progressive, dynamic guitarists in Irish music. Pat plays guitar, cittern & sings, and is joined here by a number of musician friends including Brian Kelly, Tommy McManamon, Miriam Kavanagh, Kane ORourke, Gino Lupari, Alan Reid, Mike Katz and Alasdair White.
