ONE MIND: How Our Mind Is Part of a Greater Consciousness and Why It Matters

The current view of consciousness is that it is produced by the brain and is confined to it. In contrast, the great wisdom traditions affirm that there is a universal mind, of which all individual minds are a part.

This image of consciousness has been affirmed by recent scientific evidence suggesting that conscious is nonlocal – that it is infinite in space and time, therefore immortal, united, and one.  Dr. Dossey will examine the implications of this emerging view of the mind for health, healing, and human welfare.  He will show that we are arriving at a view of consciousness that transcends death and annihilation, and that portends a majestic, new view of what it means to be human.
