Hope you all had a wonderful
Memorial Day Holiday and
unofficial start to your summer!
A couple of weeks ago I
addressed
telephone etiquette and this
week I want to address email
etiquette.
Just as often as poor
telephone etiquette comes up,
maybe even MORE often, I receive
way too many unprofessional
emails from note professionals
and note holders. I'm not able
to address note holders but I
can address you, the note
professionals. As I have
stated time and time again, the
note business is a real business
and you must be professional at
all times.
Just like a telephone, email is
a tool we use to communicate
and needs to be used
appropriately. I did some
internet research, and you can
do the same if you like, on
email etiquette, and I would
like everyone to click on the
below link for some tips on
email etiquette. Read the info
as a reminder or introduction of
how to act and communicate using
email in the note business and
beyond. Talk to you next week!

Building Your Referral Network
A potential referral source may
not know you from Adam when you
first approach them so you must
continually keep your name in
front of them on a regular basis
with business cards, letters,
postcards, faxes, flyers, e-mail
and even occasional phone calls
- whatever it takes so that they
hear from you at least once
every month or two, if not
more. It may take awhile for
your referral source to
recognize that one of their
clients could use or is in need
of your services...Read
