Hello Gospel Music Friend,

 

We just returned from our "Fall Bus Trip" and the National Quartet Convention in Pigeon Forge, TN, where we had a blast!  I don't think I have enjoyed a NQC as much as I did this past week.  Congraulations and thanks to Clarke Beasley, the NQC board, and the City of Pigeon Forge for a job well done.  We will soon be announcing our next bus trip to Savannah and the "Singing in the Sun" in Myrtle Beach for next April.  Stay tuned for details.

 

Now that we are past NQC, all roads lead to Florida!  I don't know how many people that I saw this past week at NQC, that were either headed to Florida or coming to Florida later this winter.  Here at Happy Gospel Church, we have already begun our Sunday night special service series.  The following are the complete details for the coming weeks:

 

I will be preaching in both morning services this Sunday morning, October 11th - 9am at HGC@TheRanch and 11am at HGC@Bradenton.  Then at 6pm, we are excited to welcome the Rob Mills Family in concert.  This wonderful family from Michigan is always a favorite!  For more information on our church ministry, go to http://www.happygospelchurch.com. 

 

 

Our "Fall Gospel Jubilee" in Waldo, FL is right around the corner on Thursday-Saturday, October 22-24 at the Dixieland Music Park.  This is one of our favorite weekends of the year, and most of our family joins us for this special getaway.  We have a tremendous lineup throughout the weekend featuring the Perrys, Brian Free & Assurance, Karen Peck & New River, Browders, Kingsmen, Bowling Family, Singing Echoes, Josh and Ashley Franks, and others.  I have attached the complete schedule and graphic at the end of this email.  Over 300 campsites with hookups are located directly on the grounds.  For camping reservations, call (352) 468-3988.  The Waldo Inn & Suites is located next door to the Music Park, and within walking distance.  For hotel reservations, call (352) 468-2500.  Be sure to tell them you are coming for the "Gospel Jubilee" to get the discounted rates.

 

In closing, this past Sunday was a very special day for our family as our son in law, Jamar King, preached his first Sunday morning service at HGC@TheRanch.  One of our church family took this picture, that turned out just perfect.
