TSE All-Share Index
The Tehran Stock Exchange All-Share Index edged up today for a second day of gains, adding 0.60% to close at 99,224. The top two sectors of the day were Industrial Conglomerates (+2.68%) and Financial Markets Management (+2.66%), while Insurance (-0.80%) was the weakest. The most traded sector by value was Chemicals (+0.89%) with volume of IRR 277 billion (approx. USD 6.1 million). Parsian Oil and Gas Development Co. (PASN +4.16%), Ghadir Investment Co. (GDIR +4.00%) and Golgohar Mining & Industrial Co. (GOLG +2.66%) made the most impact on the All-Share Index. The most traded stock was Sepahan Oil Co. (SEPP +5.00%) with volume of IRR 100 billion (approx. USD 2.2 million). Total traded value of the market rose 28.7% from yesterday, reaching IRR 2,942 billion (approx. USD 65 million).
TSE30 Index
The TSE 30 index of the thirty largest companies by market capitalization gained 0.81%, closing at 4,370. The highest daily gain was recorded by Iran Parsian Oil and Gas Development Co. (PASN +4.16%), while the weakest in the top 30s was Mellat Bank (BMLT -2.40%). The total traded value of the top 30 stocks reached IRR 510 billion (approx. USD 11.2 million), down 7.9% from the previous trading session. |
