Dear Friend of PST, It's Kiss Me, I'm Irish tomorrow night, Saturday, March 14th, at the Alberta Abbey, a celebration that draws upon the richness of the emerald isle in story, music, song, and dance in honor of St. Patrick's Day.
Featuring traditional Irish music by Innisfree with Sean-Nós dancing by Brian Ó hAirt. And you may not know it, but Brian is the first American to win the ballad singing competition at the All-Ireland Fleadh. He and Brenda Scearcy (of Innisfree) will be singing like angels for you at the show. You'll also hear personal stories and folktales by Lawrence Howard, Maura Conlon and Lynne Duddy. Irish-American humor provided by our host Penny Walter, an honorary Irish-woman born on St. Paddy's. Imbibe all-things Irish this Saturday night at the Abbey!
You can buy advance tickets for only $15 (no fees). Hurry though, they're going fast! We do plan to set aside some tickets at the door for walk-ups ($18 cash, check, visa). In keeping with our mission to make art accessible to everyone, those with an Oregon Trail Card can get in the show for a mere $5.
Doors 7:00 | Show 8:00 Come early and nibble on the complimentary appetizers. Mingle with the performers. Rogue Nation beer, and wine from Hip Chicks Do Wine available for sale when the doors open, 21+ only. Sláinte!
May the narrative be with you!®
