TSE All-Share Index
Tehran stocks continued to edge
upwards, with the TSE All-Share Index adding 0.07% to close at 82,075. Paper
Products (+4.79%) was the top performing sector of the day. The biggest
faller was Oil Products (-0.91%) which was also the most traded sector by value
with volume of IRR 190 billion (approx. USD 4.9 million). The TSE All-Share
Index was mostly impacted by Metal & Mines Investment Development Co.
(MADN +4.0%), Mellat Bank (BMLT -3.11%) and Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping
Lines (KSHJ +2.37%). The most traded stock was Tabriz Oil Refining Co. (PNTB
-4.53%) with IRR 81 billion (approx. USD 2.1 million). Trading volume
partially recovered from yesterday’s dip, increasing 50% to IRR 2,175 billion
(approx. USD 57 million).

The
top 30s also continued their positive trend, driving the TSE30 index of the
thirty largest companies by market capitalization which closed up 0.14% at
3,301. Metal & Mines Investment Development Co. (MADN +4.0%) rose the
most, while Mellat Bank (BMLT -3.11%) was the biggest faller. The total
traded value of shares in the TSE30 index surged 76% to IRR 340 billion
(approx. USD 8.8 million). Metal & Mines Investment Development Co.,
Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Co. (PNBA -0.06%), Esfahan Mobarakeh Steel Co.
(FOLD +0.34%) and Mellat Bank were the most traded stocks by value in the top
30s.
