Happy August! I hope you've been enjoying your summer since the last time one of these came your way. I have...but I guess that's obvious by the fact that I figured out how to shrink my piano while basking in the sun! :) #sikeitsactuallyatoypiano
It's hard to believe that fall is right around the corner and that school routines and work schedules will begin to take over our lives once again! Not to mention a sunset that comes sooner by the day. #thumbsdown. BUT not to worry! There are still a few wonderful weeks of summer left...and a fall filled with plenty of music - that is if you decide to show up at concert or show.
I'm told August is the worst time to send one of these newsletters out since everyone is supposedly on vacation. So I thought Id keep it simple (or simpler). Today`s newsletter is slightly stripped down.
STEEL SESSIONS
 Here's something exciting! I was chosen to record a 30-minute set for the Lehigh Valley PBS affiliate this Friday, August 14 as part of a new music series called Steel Sessions. There were a bunch of submissions so I am really pumped to be among the 10 artists/bands chosen. The taping will take place in Bethlehem, PA during Musikfest in front of a live studio audience, and my band will be coming down from Pittsburgh for this. If you are in the Greater Philly/Bethlehem area (or plan to be in the area for Musikfest this weekend) and you want to be in the studio audience, click the link below. MUSIC VIDEO ON THE WAY!
 The music video is done! A few weeks ago we finished our second shoot for the Time music video. We had a bunch of hiccups along the way these last few months, but it is finally done *pfew!*- thanks to our acting couple, David + Esther, and Scouts Honor Media. I am so excited to share the finished product with you, so be on the lookout in next month's newsletter!
