Fulham Town Hall is a building which dominates the high street, it has been left abandoned and unused for 20 years. Now as part of a last hurrah prior to redevelopment, it’s been taken over by artists. For the last six months artists (mostly London based due to lockdown restrictions) of different disciplines and styles have been building their installations in the Fulham Town Hall to create the ultimate immersive experience that is different to any gallery / museum / art fair.

Curated by BenMoore, ‘Art in the Age of Now’ makes use of what is a rare space. A place, built in 1890, which at one time was at the heart of civic life in the area. Even now the old court chambers and the ballroom can be visited. Grand staircases illuminated by the light from impressive stained glass windows are still there. Deeper into the building’s basement and old cells can also still be explored.

For visitors to ‘Art in the Age of Now’ it’s a rare chance not only to see inside this unique building but also to engage with installations from multiple artists.
