Subject:	Plant Tour Oakville South West Wastewater Plant
	The Oakville South West wastewater treatment plant in Halton Region has just completed a major upgrade and capacity increase. The Region is pleased to show off its newly completed plant upgrade in this exclusive ISA Hamilton section tour. The Oakville South West (Phase III) Wastewater Treatment Plant project included the replacement of the West 18 Sewage Pumping Station and installation of a super pipe for storage and equalization of plant flows to enhance plant efficiency. In addition, the project included upgrading of the electrical system and the installation of new treatment modules and ultraviolet light disinfection modules to ensure the plant is able to function properly while ensuring that the impact on the environment is minimized. For security reasons, tour attendees must sign-up for the tour ahead of time (tour attendees must RSVP by Wed, Nov. 23) . Closed toe shoes and long pants are required for safety reasons.
