Our Condolences to the family of Rob Burton
It is with great sadness that we report of the passing of long time East Huntsville resident Rob Burton...

Rob was killed Sunday morning in a head on collision in Ogden Canyon.  While not an official resident of incorporated Huntsville due only to geography, most residents would agree that Rob and Colleen are as much a part of our town as anyone.  Colleen has been over the Independence Day Fun Run for many, many years, and Rob was always very supportive.

In my previous life of working at the family grocery store (where Ogden Valley Community Church is now), there was always a handful of people whom I looked forward to seeing.  Rob was at the top of the list.  Right up there with the likes of Roy Bailey, Addie Dickson and Margo Smelzer.

Rob's dry wit and humor would cause even the most stoic to burst out in laughter, sometimes hours after the conversation.  He was soft spoken and had a shy innocence, but left a resounding impact on everyone.

His untimely death was even more tragic as Rob and Colleen were planning to take their kids and grandkids to Disneyland this weekend.

Our sincerest condolences go out to Rob's family.  Rest in peace my friend.

Town Winter Party Saturday Night at 6 PM
Bring you family and friends to the Huntsville Town Winter Party...  at the ice rink.

It will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2011 at 6:00 PM.

Hot Chocolate, treats and ice skates will be provided to residents at no charge, but Ramona Clapperton and Willie Richardson will not be allowed to wear ice skates.  Spiked boots and helmets will be provided to these fine, accident prone ladies.

Two Other Long Term Residents Ill
Jenifer Georgi and Leo Meyer are ill and in need of our thoughts and prayers...

Leo's family has created a Caring Bridge website for his friends and neighbors to review his status.  A guest book is available and he and Judy would love to hear from you.  Click here to view Leo's web site.

Huntsville Has A New Full Color Copy Machine That is Available For Use
The town of Huntsville recently replaced their aging copy machine with a full color copy machine.  To assist with the expense, the machine will be available for residents who need color or black and white copies.

The prices will be competitive with copy centers in Ogden and will be available when Gail or Ramona are at the Town Hall - typically weekday mornings, but call before you make a special trip.  801-745-3420.

That's All For Now - Have a nice week,
