NEWS FOR CAT LOVERS
===================================

Many Americans without Cats at Home Buy Into the
stereotypes of Multiple-Cat Owners

A lot of people who do not own cats tend to have pre-
conceived notions about those of us who have more than
a few. Some of the opinions aren't very nice.

------------------------

This is an engaging story about a cat that is a "mascot,"
of sorts, at a public library. "Dewey" was found in the book
return slot, and now there is a book about him!

------------------------

This kitten walks on her front legs! Born with a deformity
of her hind legs, which are useless, Lola has to balance
on her front legs, or crawl. She's a happy little camper,
though, and is expected to live a "normal" life.

--------------------------

Maine Coon cats are the largest domestic pet cats
in the U.S., and this one has just grabbed the record... at
four feet long, from nose tip to tail tip.
