Scotland Island Kindie Newsflash
Does
anyone know a qualified Authorised Supervisor, or Director who would
be interested in running our island Kindie for 3 days a week?
Thanks
to Pittwater Council, our Kindie has been upgraded to meet the new
DoCS regulations.
The
Kindie is now being managed by the community under SIOCS.
We have
enrolments and waiting lists of kids lined up to be at the centre.
We are
running interim Playgroups at the centre now.
And we
have been busy fundraising.
We are
ready to operate as a long day care centre, but...
unfortunately the Director that we had signed up to launch us into 2006 has sadly found out that she has breast cancer, and consequently she can no longer take up the position.
