       Happy New Year!
Can I still say that!? We're 3 weeks in and it has been a happy new year indeed. I can't remember the last time I stayed put for a whole month! Feels good to play catch up on life, hang out with friends, and spend time casting vision for 2017. I also wrote a new song at 3am last night. The words downloaded right into my sprit and poured out of my fingers onto my piano. It was exactly all I needed to feel good about this year's start. How's your year been so far?
 MONKEYING AROUND IN NIGERIA December was a quiet month in music. In fact, I spent half of it in Nigeria with family over the holiday. A number of you asked me if I came home with a husband (inside joke if you've heard the story at a show). No engagement rings here but I did fall in love...with a monkey. This monkey! It walked right up to me. Actually, its mother walked up to me and it fondly stared into the middle distance as if to say "you can't have me". So that's what jealousy feels like...
Anyhow, I suppose I should stop rambling and share a thing or two about music, since that's what you're here for.
 COLLEGE TOUR!
Things get back up and rolling in just a few weeks, and ill be going pretty hard for the rest of this winter. Most of February and March will involve extensive college touring with only a few public shows and house concerts.
