A new flag for Europe
9 - 15 August 2009, Boisbuchet, France

The present European flag with the 12 identical yellow stars on a blue background is designed in 1955. Since then Europe has much changed., What is the identity of the present Europe with its cultural, linguistic and religious diversity? During a week's workshop organized by Vitra Design Museum in Boisbuchet, a group of international students explore these questions to create a new flag for Europe.
